The TCFMC Annual membership picnic gets under way as the grills get heated up and chefs Bellows and Torney serve of the good food at 6PM at Brookview Park in Golden Valley Tuesday, August 5.Brookview is at the intersection of Hwy 55 and Winnetka in Golden Valley just south of 55 in the Large Shelter. Thanx to all who participated at The W0EF FD site this year.
We had our share of problems but all in all it was a good FD for us this year.
Great to see all the good ops we had there including The phenom Cal K0DXC.
Man can he rock on CW!
We had overall a very good group of seasoned as well as newer up and coming ops there. And as usual our setup crew was the best in the business.

I was going to wear my clergy collar and make the following remarks.

Also we now have the new computer on station 2 networking in writelog with station 1 ,so we can enter as a multi 2 and double the fun. (when enough ops are there 2 stations,when not 1 station)

The TCFMC contest team W0EF won 1st place in the 10th area in the CQWPX Contest!! In the March 2006 contest.Ops :KC0RET,K0BUD,KN0F,KC0QNA,KC0TRX,KB0FH,W0QT and WB0N. The interesting thing is it was our lowest score in a couple years so go figure!Anyways Good Job all!
