444.125 is healthy as ever. If you're in the south metro, enjoy it!

444.1 is back on the air after a ride up a couple flights of stairs. If you see any problems with it, let us know.

146.76 is ill. The amp has serious spurs that are out of band, so it's off until we can fix it or replace it. Okay, it's back on the air now. As of this morning (May 31st), the squelch tail sounded a little dirty, but voice functionality is working fine and sounding nice.

View my blog for a bit more in depth information. Early this afternoon the 146.76 repeater was modified to allow touch tone events to be sent through th repeater to the repeater output. This was needed in order to tell the EchoLink system to setup, or tear down connections by users with touch tone capable radios.

Not everything is completely worked out yet. However for the most part you should be able to connect to users, links, and conferences online. I'm checking into adding Repeater connectivity.

I'm not a ham radio operator but my neighbor is. Big time. He's got two big antenna's (had three until the city told him to take one down).

The problem I'm having is that every time he's on his radio I get to stop what I'm doing and be part of the conversation. His conversations come across my TV - even when on mute - even when watching a DVD - on computer speakers - on about everything except the toaster. We even know he's on because the heat-sensor operated driveway light comes on.

I am in the process of writing a program that will be available via the World Wide Web, which will generate random QSO's similar to those on the Morse Code exam.

Since I haven't taken the test yet, I only have some examples from websites that I have found using a google search. I am not sure how old the examples I am looking at are, so I don't know if the "style" of the exams has changed. Also, I have seen some "example" questions that will be asked concerning the QSO, and I don't know if there is a question "pool" available somewhere.

444.1 and 146.76 appear to be doing well these days. It's been at least a week since I last got a beep off of the 444.125 repeater though. Not sure what I can do at the moment, but willing to help out if at all possible.
