Is 444.1 down?

It certainly looks like it. I've heard a number of folks who can't get in. I tried from home with even 10 watts (my 1w HT is normally sufficient) and got no joy.

Does anyone know the real story?

it's back.

As of 15:30, it appears to be back but it's very scratchy from my home in Fridley. It's usually crystal-clear here, so something's obviously amiss.

Maintenance Saturday.

Sometime around the time of the Saturday Swap shop 444.1 was taken down for maintenance. It appears that the results are a bit mixed, including perhaps the squelch level being a bit higher than before. I have not had significant issues myself, but have heard a number of people who have broken up at times I suspect they thought they would not.

Granted I have other issues, but that seems to be normal.
