Odd observation...

Just noticed that prior to my posting this note, The Forum's page, listed the Website forum as having two topics, one message each (or two messages.)

What is odd about that is that when I selected the forum I was seeing only the 'Contest: Help Build This Website!' topic, with no replies.

My suspicion is that there was a message or topic that was deleted, but the counters never got reset.

Thoughts or responses from the webmaster?

Odd observation...

Comments, articles or other items on the site can be marked "unpublished". So while there might be X items in a forum or other category of objects in this site, you may not see all X of them.

Some reasons for "unpublished" status are:

Audio, Video or Images that haven't been reviewed by an admin or moderator.
The item's creator decided to mark the item "unpublished" for privacy reasons.
And when I add the "voting" module, it's possible for an item to recieve enough negative votes to make the system mark it as unpublished.

So there you go. ;)
